The biggest hit and one of the best ever thrillers in Indian Cinema by Simbu who also did the story, screenplay and dialogue is a Jyothika and Simbu starrer. The film`s score and songs are composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and all the songs became chartbusters. Simbhu plays a dual role in this film.

This is an action thriller stars Gopika and Simbu set against the background of Chennai's rowdies. In this film Simbu sports a beard and black dress throughout the film.

Vallavan Meeting the Perfection

Simbu did the story and screenplay of his recent super hit film Manmadhan. Though everyone knows he did the proxy direction too in Manmadhan where Murugan was the original director, officially Simbhu has been announced as the director of his forthcoming film Vallavan. Apart from wielding the megaphone, Simbu writes the story and screenplay also.

He has three heroines for company. Nayantara and Sandhya play homely roles and Reema Sen provides oomph. The film produced by Sri Raj Lakshmi Films (P) Ltd.Silambarasan will have his Vallavan released this Deepavali. Silambarasan is shooting a few remaining portions, being produced by Thenappan, is directed by Silambarasan and the cast includes Reema Sen, Nayantra and Sandhya.

The movie was shot in various locations. Songs by Yuvan Shankar Raja are already chart-busters and the whole crew is hopeful that a youthful star cast and huge expectations for the movie would work out in their favor.Silambarasan, says, 'Vallavan would have all ingredients in it to appease masses especially youth. Sure to rock movie buffs this Deepavali'.

Simbu - His Interest On Tollywood

One of the most promising youngsters in Tamil cinema is Silambarasan, or Simbu as he is widely known. As an adult, his first few films did not set the box office on fire, but his last release Manmadhan (based on a story by Simbu himself) was both critically and commercially appreciated. As per the media sources, Little Superstar Simbu will do the remake of Bhadra in Tamil. Bhadra is a super hit in Telugu that has Raviteja and Meera Jasmine in the lead and is produced by Dil Raju. K.S.Ravikumar will direct this in Tamil for Devayani Films' Amudha Dorairaj. Simbu, who started his Vallavan recently, will start on this film shortly.

Simbu, who already gave a hit in Telugu with Manmadha (dubbing of Manmadhan), is another Tamil hero that the producers are after for dubbing his films. Recently his Thotti Jaya is a hit at the boxoffice. Gopika is the heroine in this film. Dorai is the director. It is interesting to know that earlier reports talked about Suresh productions bagging the remake rights of this film. Though Thotti Jaya was in production for quite sometime (even giving the speculation that the project might have been shelved), it came out and proved successful for Simbu at the box office. Satish Film Corp. is dubbing this film into Telugu as Jalakanta. Producer Satish said that he had to put up a tough fight to get the dubbing rights of this film.

Simbu - S.J.Suryah : Friends turned rivals?

Remember the Bangkok affair? They say friendships in film world are fickle affairs. There is never a lasting friendship.

Take the much in the news pals – S.J. Suryah and Simbu. There was a time when S.J. Suryah was around for every discussion in Simbu’s film and the reverse was also true. In fact, S.J. Suryah’s Puli with Vijay was dropped because of this reason. But, of late, this pally pally affair has become a Teflon thing. It has been months since the two even met.

The few instances they face each other in public, it is just a hai and bye. Whatever happened between the two? The only one word answer is Nayantara. She has given clear instructions that he should stay off S.J. Suryah if he wanted to be with her. The girl is said to be quite taken up with Simbu and both often go out together. Pick of the album, by miles. There are 2 versions and the regular version is my pick. Simbu has sung pretty well. The song is replete with rap pieces and some very catchy humming by the chorus. The tune is very simple and haunting at the same time. The remix offers nothing new in it and hence can easily be passed on.Well, this is a soundtrack from the movie Vallavan. I am kinda hooked to this song. dunno why!! Sounds too funny for me. I've always liked Yuvan's music and I feel that he has given his full for this song. The lyric kinda gives glimpse to the brillant tune. Guess who's penned the lyrics for this song? The Little Super Star "Silambarasan" himself. Damn good…Anyways, the song is catchy..

Simbu’s movie named Mosamanavan

Simbu is back from America after his vacation which he took after the completion of the movie Valavaan. Simbu appears fresh and energetic. He has started hearing good stories from directors. 


While talking to the media about the movies he will be working in the year 2007, he said that he will now acting for three movies and return to direction after a couple of years. His upcoming movie has been named Mosamanavan and Asin is going to pair up with him in the movie. 


The movie is going to be produced under the banner of GV Films. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music for the movie. Tarun Gopi will be directing the upcoming movie of Simbu. Simbu has also announced that he will be working for three movies in the year.

Whenever Sathyaraj arrives anywhere, there is a group of people surrounding him always. The reason for this is that Sathyaraj was recently gifted with Periyar's ring. All of them asked him to show that prestigious ring that belonged to that great leader Periyar and only after admiring it thay relieved him from that spot. This situation happened during the audio releasing function of the movie Vambhu sandai which he acted recently. Simbu who came for the audio releasing function, admired Periyar's ring with lots of excitement and anxiety.

Usually Sathyaraj does not see stinginess (Kanjathanam) to praise other actors. This is what happened during the function. I have acted in so many movies, he said. But, none of the movie got Telugu rights and also have not crossed more than one lakh. Same like this, they gave one lakh and got rights for the movie 'Kovai brothers' which I acted few years ago.. But, unbelievably it made a profit of more than 30 lakh Rupees. The reason for that is I have done mimicry and imitated like Simbu and danced in a song. That was one of the reason for that movie to get good collection he added. This movie has become a youth movie only because of Simbu arriving here for releasing the audio for this movie he said this proudly in before all and praised a lot about Simbu in this occasion. The whole auditorium quaked when the audience applauded when Sathyaraj told that, if anyone hears when I and Simbhu speak together, we will speak very closely and intimately in such a way that any person will almost think that we both are classmates.

As Simbu said earlier 'Age doesn't matter when it comes for friendship'.

The upcoming unnamed venture of Thalaivan Yss Silambarasan is already the talk of town, as it carries all the top names in the industry. With Cloud Nine Productions producing the movie, we are in no way worried as they have a extraordinary promotion network. With Goutham Menon showing how to make movies reach the audience it is a easy walk for the producers.  And with the magician Anthony, we can expect a class touch to each frame. Coming to Lingusamy, he has promised to take a movie which will please both the Class audience as well as the Mass audience.

The team is on a trip to Macau, where they are working on their script and the story board of the unnamed movie. Simbucentral with regards to all the fans wish the team a fruitful venture.

It is been worried that a protest in Macau, a place in China had some violence yesterday and there are reports that it was nearby to the Hotels and restaurants. We have not got any confirmation on it. But we pray that our Thalaivan Yss Silambarasan and the Cloud Nine team are safe, hail and healthy.

It is well known that the team is staying there to work on the script for the upcoming venture with ace director Lingusamy. Editor Anthony is with the team too.

Lets hope the best, that there is not even a single problem for our Hero and the team over there.
